HyperPrime 50mm T0.95 CINE ( Fujifilm X / MFT-Mount ) Lens

This lens has a “cinematic soft” look with slightly warm colors. Skin tones look natural and healthy—not too yellow or too pale. Overall contrast is on the lower side, so images are not harsh or glaring. This makes it easy to create soft, airy scenes and to color grade in post. At T0.95–T1.4, the image has an “ethereal” feel with a light soft-focus effect, like a built‑in high-end beauty filter. It naturally smooths skin and reduces blemishes while keeping detail and depth in the eyes and facial features.

At T0.95, center sharpness is already good enough for daily shooting, lifestyle portraits, and general portrait work. The edges show a vintage cinema look with slight vignetting, giving a retro feel and naturally guiding the viewer’s eye to the subject.

● Background blur and cinematic bokeh:

On an MFT camera, T0.95 gives extremely shallow depth of field and strong subject separation: the subject stays sharp while the background becomes soft and creamy. The subject “pops” clearly from the scene, with smooth transitions from foreground to subject to background—no harsh cutout effect. Out-of-focus highlights from neon signs, street lamps, and city lights appear soft and rounded, making it great for romantic city night shots, portraits, and night street photography.

The 12‑blade aperture keeps the bokeh round and smooth even when slightly stopped down, instead of turning into hard-edged polygons. Night-time light orbs and other out‑of‑focus highlights stay refined, layered, and cinematic.

● Flares, atmosphere, and light control:

When shooting backlit or reflective scenes wide open at T0.95, the lens creates gentle flares and a soft “glow,” ideal for dreamy, hazy, memory-like images. This works especially well for weddings, romantic short films, and artistic portraits, where natural flare adds emotion and storytelling.

Stopping down to around T2.8–T4 greatly reduces flare and boosts contrast and clarity, making it suitable for clean, sharp commercial or documentary work. With one lens, you can move between “atmospheric and dreamy” and “professional and sharp.” The 62mm filter thread supports ND, black mist, CPL, and other filters, letting you fine‑tune softness, contrast, and light control to match the needs of more advanced creators.
